Obviously the ideal place to hang a Well Hung Hammock is between two palm trees on a deserted tropical island but there are plenty of other places to hang them and once you’re in your hammock the sensation should be just as blissful wherever you are! You don’t need a garden full of trees to enjoy your hammock - we sell accessories which enable you to hang your hammock without a tree in sight. You don’t even need a garden! With a couple of hooks drilled into the walls in your house, hammocks make perfect sofa beds and they don’t take up any space when you’re not using them. You’d be surprised where you find to hang a hammock once you start looking - take it to the park, take it to festivals, take it on holiday and definitely take it travelling; take it wherever you go and just take it easy!

All Well Hung Hammocks are highly portable - they all pack into their own bags and the heaviest weighs about 1 kg. We don’t believe in big, bulky hammocks with unnatural ‘spreader bars’ - the kind that encourage you to lie with a curved spine and tip you out as soon as you try to move.  In a proper hammock the trick is to lie diagonally across it - not from end to end - so you can lie straight and you have room to move about (your body spreads the hammock out, not a big chunk of wood); our hammocks are very hard to fall out of.

We have a variety of sizes of hammocks - singles, doubles and family size but all of our hammocks are strong enough to hold at least 2 adults (approx 120kg) and some of them hold considerably more! Any hammock you buy from us comes with the reassurance that it’s been personally tried, tested, sourced and approved by us (in the case of Well Hung Travel Hammocks and Mexican Hammocks that’s been for over 10 years).
