Camden Lock Market
For the past 15 years we have had a weekend stall at Camden Lock Market where you can come to try out our hammocks and see the different types we sell.
We are the only specialist hammock shop in London and we are happy to advise you on how you can hang a hammock and answer your questions as accurately and honestly as possible.
Before coming, it is best if you can measure the height and width of the area where you want to hang a hammock (or bring a photo!). We stock hanging accessories there from wall hooks to ropes. You're welcome to order a hammock frame from us at the stall but they are only available for delivery, not to pick up there.
We are only open on weekends but it is possible to collect a hammock during the week if you order in advance. Please contact us for details.
Our stall is in Camden Lock Place. We're a stone’s throw from Camden Lock and the canal. We're only 100m from the iconic railway bridge with the Camden Lock logo. To find us, start on the main road, Camden High Street. Stand under the railway bridge and you'll see a cobbled street, Camden Lock Place. We are underneath the Shaka Zulu Restaurant statue - you can't miss us.
How to get to Camden Lock Market
WATERBUS: Boats cruise along the canal between Little Venice and Camden in spring and summer. Check times at LondonWaterBus.com
WALK: From Central London, walk through Regents Park to London Zoo. From there, there are signposts and along the canal to Camden Lock Market. It's a beautiful walk. It's half an hour unless you stop for coffee — or if the sights distract you along the way!
UNDERGROUND: Camden Town and Chalk Farm are our nearest tube stations. They are 10 minutes on the Northern line from the centre of London. We're 5 minutes walk from either station.
BUS: Buses from all over London come to the market: 24, 27, 29, 31, 134, 135, 168, 214, 253, 274, C2
CAR: There is visitor parking in Camden Town but it is rather expensive. There is short-term (2 hours) parking in Morrison's supermarket on Chalk Farm Road (if you spend in store) - there is a quick way to our stall from there.
